TRIM & FINISH CARPENTRY: QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
What does trim and finish carpentry include?
Baseboards, crown molding, door casing, wainscoting and door trim. Joints are mitred, caulked and left finish-ready for paint.
Can you add crown molding or wainscoting to an existing room?
Yes. Trim work is fitted to the room as it is, so it is a common upgrade to finished homes, not only to new construction.
Do you paint the trim after installing it?
The trim is delivered finish-ready: filled, caulked and sanded so it is ready for paint. Ask when you request the estimate if you want painting included in the scope.
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free and put in writing. We look at the job, measure it, and give you a written price with no obligation.
Which areas do you serve?
Charlotte, North Carolina and the surrounding towns. Recent projects and customer reviews come from Charlotte, Matthews, Pineville, Waxhaw, Monroe, Concord and Huntersville in NC, and Fort Mill in SC.
How do I get in touch?
Call or text (980) 580-7217, email info@renovexahomegroup.com, or send the estimate request form on this site. Hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Do you take small jobs?
Yes. We take jobs of every size, from a single door or a run of baseboard to a full remodel.
How does payment work?
We ask for 50% to start the job, which covers the materials and the labor, and the remaining 50% when the work is finished.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. Our work is guaranteed. How long the guarantee lasts depends on the type of service, so ask about it for your project when you request the estimate.
How long have you been doing this work?
More than ten years of hands-on remodeling and finish carpentry work.
What is a job site like while you work?
Floors are protected, dust is contained, and tools are put away at the end of each day. The schedule we give you at the start is the one we keep.
